Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers and Butterflies by Chen Shu was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,282.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Shu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Guan Zhongji in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 37,352.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers and Butterflies von Chen Shu wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.282,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Shu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Guan Zhongji im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 37.352,66).
