Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscapes and Figures by Chen Shu for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,475.47). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Guan Zhongji in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 37,352.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscapes and Figures von Chen Shu für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.475,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Guan Zhongji im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 37.352,66).
