Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Chen Shu was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 22,648.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Chen Shu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2018 the work Portrait Of Guan Zhongji was auctioned for HKD 354,000.00 (€ 37,352.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Chen Shu wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 22.648,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Shu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2018 die Arbeit Portrait Of Guan Zhongji für HKD 354.000,00 (€ 37.352,66) versteigert.
