Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ink Lotus by Chen Jialing was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,969.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Jialing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) in December 2015 with an auction result of CNY 330,400.00 (€ 46,978.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ink Lotus von Chen Jialing wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.969,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Jialing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers And Birds (Album Of Twelve Works) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 330.400,00 (€ 46.978,32).
