This artwork by Chen Dingshan achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Ten Poems In Running Script (Warring States Period To Western Han Dynasty，5Th Century Bc - 1St Century) sold for HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,875.82) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Dingshan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Snowscape in the Style of Ju Ran in December this year with an auction result of HKD 151,200.00 (€ 17,495.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Dingshan erzielte im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Ten Poems In Running Script (Warring States Period To Western Han Dynasty，5Th Century Bc - 1St Century) für HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.875,82) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Dingshan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Snowscape in the Style of Ju Ran im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 151.200,00 (€ 17.495,57).
