Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Running Script / Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script by Chen Dingshan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. The price achieved of HKD 10,080.00 (€ 1,311.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Dingshan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Snowscape in the Style of Ju Ran in December this year with an auction result of HKD 151,200.00 (€ 17,495.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script / Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script von Chen Dingshan kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.080,00 (€ 1.311,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Dingshan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Snowscape in the Style of Ju Ran im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 151.200,00 (€ 17.495,57).
