A top price for Chen Dingshan - as previously expected
The work Snowscape in the Style of Ju Ran by Chen Dingshan was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. The price achieved of HKD 151,200.00 (€ 17,495.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Snowscape in the Style of Ju Ran is the most expensive artwork by Chen Dingshan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Snowscape in the Style of Ju Ran von Chen Dingshan wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 151.200,00 (€ 17.495,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Snowscape in the Style of Ju Ran das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chen Dingshan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
