Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peach Blossom Spring by Chen Da was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 26,916.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Chen Da have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2013 the work Landscape After Qiu Ying was auctioned for USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,553.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peach Blossom Spring von Chen Da kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 26.916,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Da konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2013 die Arbeit Landscape After Qiu Ying für USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.553,01) versteigert.
