Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape in Song Style by Chen Da was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. It changed hands for a price of HKD 21,600.00 (€ 2,094.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Da achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Qiu Ying in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,553.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape in Song Style von Chen Da kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 21.600,00 (€ 2.094,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Da erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Qiu Ying im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.553,01).
