Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2000 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS, which included the work Landscape After Wen Zhengming by Chen Da. The price achieved of HKD 23,500.00 (€ 3,550.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Da have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Qiu Ying in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,553.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY CHINESE PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape After Wen Zhengming von Chen Da zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 23.500,00 (€ 3.550,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Da auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Qiu Ying im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.553,01).
