Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Autumn Flowers by Chen Chun. The price achieved of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 65,947.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers and Calligraphy in June this year with an auction result of HKD 28,810,000.00 (€ 3,366,443.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Flowers von Chen Chun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 65.947,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers and Calligraphy im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 28.810.000,00 (€ 3.366.443,22).
