Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chen Banding achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Sweet Flag sold for HKD 119,700.00 (€ 14,210.96) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Banding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sceneries Of Mount Huang in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,300,000.00 (€ 270,662.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Banding erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Sweet Flag für HKD 119.700,00 (€ 14.210,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Banding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sceneries Of Mount Huang im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.300.000,00 (€ 270.662,29).
