Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Letter to Zhang Ziqi by Chen Banding was sold in the Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in August last year. The price achieved of HKD 3,825.00 (€ 484.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Banding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sceneries Of Mount Huang in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,300,000.00 (€ 270,662.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Letter to Zhang Ziqi von Chen Banding wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.825,00 (€ 484,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Banding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sceneries Of Mount Huang im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.300.000,00 (€ 270.662,29).
