Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gourds by Chen Banding was sold in the Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,738.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Banding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sceneries Of Mount Huang in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,300,000.00 (€ 270,662.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gourds von Chen Banding wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.738,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Banding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sceneries Of Mount Huang im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.300.000,00 (€ 270.662,29).
