The work Loquat by Chen Banding was sold in the Takahashi Kouhou Collection auction at China Guardian in October 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 72,000.00 (€ 8,009.00), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Banding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sceneries Of Mount Huang in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,300,000.00 (€ 270,662.29).

Die Arbeit Loquat von Chen Banding wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Takahashi Kouhou Collection bei China Guardian versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 8.009,00) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Banding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sceneries Of Mount Huang im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.300.000,00 (€ 270.662,29).
