Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chen Banding achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the The Mu-Fei Collection of Chinese Paintings auction, the work Flowers sold for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,377.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Banding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sceneries Of Mount Huang in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,300,000.00 (€ 270,662.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Banding erzielte im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Mu-Fei Collection of Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Flowers für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 11.377,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Banding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sceneries Of Mount Huang im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.300.000,00 (€ 270.662,29).
