The work Roses And Bees by Chau Hang was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2020. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,024.40), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chau Hang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cicada, which sold at auction in September last year for HKD 35,280.00 (€ 4,590.76).

Die Arbeit Roses And Bees von Chau Hang wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.024,40) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Chau Hang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cicada beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für HKD 35.280,00 (€ 4.590,76) versteigert wurde.
