Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled: Two Works by Charmion von Wiegand was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2007. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,319.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charmion von Wiegand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 133,000.00 (€ 93,536.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled: Two Works von Charmion von Wiegand kam im Oktober 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.319,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charmion von Wiegand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 133.000,00 (€ 93.536,82).
