This artwork by Charline von Heyl achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June 2016. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work without title sold for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,253.88) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charline von Heyl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dumka in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 300,000.00 (€ 269,082.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Charline von Heyl erzielte im Juni 2016 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.253,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charline von Heyl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dumka im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 300.000,00 (€ 269.082,43).
