This artwork by Charles Williams achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2008. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Landing Stage, Crantock; An Old Boat; And Another Old Boat sold for GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,508.11) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,702.72).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Williams erzielte im Januar 2008 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Landing Stage, Crantock; An Old Boat; And Another Old Boat für GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.508,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Williams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.702,72).
