In May 2008 Christies in London held the auction The Irish Sale, which included the work Carraroe by Charles Lamb. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,088.17), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Charles Lamb have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Fisherman with Pollan in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,545.89).

Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Irish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carraroe von Charles Lamb zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.088,17) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Lamb auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Fisherman with Pollan im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.545,89).
