This artwork by Charles Lamb achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work The Fishing Party sold for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,738.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Lamb have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Fisherman with Pollan in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,545.89).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Lamb erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit The Fishing Party für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.738,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Lamb auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Fisherman with Pollan im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.545,89).
