Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flaherty'S Pub by Charles Lamb was sold in the A Living Legacy: Irish Art from the Collection of Brian P. Burns auction at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,099.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Lamb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Fisherman with Pollan, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,545.89).

Die Arbeit Flaherty'S Pub von Charles Lamb wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion A Living Legacy: Irish Art from the Collection of Brian P. Burns bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.099,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
