Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Charles Guilloux achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June 2020. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction, the work Bord de la rivière sold for EUR 10,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Guilloux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape At Sunset, which sold at auction in November 2017 for EUR 32,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Guilloux erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne wurde die Arbeit Bord de la rivière für EUR 10.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Guilloux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape At Sunset beobachtet, die im November 2017 für EUR 32.500,00 versteigert wurde.
