The »bidding war« ended at USD 337,500.00 (€ 298,065.88), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Charles Sheeler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work White Sentinels in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 2,232,500.00 (€ 1,913,024.85).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 337.500,00 (€ 298.065,88) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Sheeler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit White Sentinels im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.232.500,00 (€ 1.913.024,85).
