Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Elegant Company At The Shootingrange On A Sunny Afternoon by Charles Rochussen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2001. It changed hands for a price of NLG 1,880.00 (€ 903.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of NLG 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Rochussen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stadholder William III inspecting the troups at Hinderschans in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 10,755.00.

Die Arbeit An Elegant Company At The Shootingrange On A Sunny Afternoon von Charles Rochussen kam im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von NLG 1.880,00 (€ 903,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Rochussen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stadholder William III inspecting the troups at Hinderschans im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.755,00.
