Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2014 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain, which included the work La Chambre D'Une Femme Désordre by Charles Matton. The auction ended at the price of EUR 20,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Charles Matton have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2019 the work Hommage À Georges Pérec Ii was auctioned for EUR 40,000.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2014 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Chambre D'Une Femme Désordre von Charles Matton zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 20.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Charles Matton konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2019 die Arbeit Hommage À Georges Pérec Ii für EUR 40.000,00 versteigert.
