Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contemplation by Charles-Louis Müller was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 6,312.50 (€ 7,009.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles-Louis Müller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sultana Reading the Holy Qur'an in March last year with an auction result of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 82,162.95).

Die Arbeit Contemplation von Charles-Louis Müller kam im Oktober 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.312,50 (€ 7.009,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles-Louis Müller erzielen.
