However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles-Louis Clérisseau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interiors of a Roman basilica with figures, which sold at auction in December 2010 for GBP 51,650.00 (€ 59,913.84).
