Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 300.00 (€ 439.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Leslie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures resting by a lake with cattle watering in a mountainous landscape in September 2001 with an auction result of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 6,070.79).
