Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Racing On The Clyde by Charles Keith Miller for GBP 352.50 (€ 560.94). This price was achieved in the auction MARITIME AND NAVAL BATTLES at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Charles Keith Miller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Freja in Scottish waters in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,377.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Racing On The Clyde von Charles Keith Miller für GBP 352,50 (€ 560,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion MARITIME AND NAVAL BATTLES bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Keith Miller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Freja in Scottish waters im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.377,38).
