In the MARITIME PICTURES auction, the work The Racing Cutter Galatea Off The Fastnet Rock, 1885 sold for GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,291.84) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Keith Miller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Freja in Scottish waters, which sold at auction in November 2000 for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,377.38).
