In September 2020 Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction The Sporting & Wildlife Sale, which included the work Rest on the Moors by Charles Jones, R.C.A.. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,312.50 (€ 12,473.87), 41% above the upper estimate. Other works by Charles Jones, R.C.A. have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,985.19) in March 2012 for the work Sheep resting on a tree-lined path.
