In April 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Miniatures from a Private Collection, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Boy by Charles Sargeant Jagger. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,390.36), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Sargeant Jagger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maquette For The Driver, Royal Artillery Memorial, 1921-25 in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 422,400.00 (€ 611,205.76).

Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Important Miniatures from a Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Boy von Charles Sargeant Jagger zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.390,36) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Sargeant Jagger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maquette For The Driver, Royal Artillery Memorial, 1921-25 im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.400,00 (€ 611.205,76).
