(2) by Charles Leickert was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,925.00 (€ 9,963.31), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Leickert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At the 'koek en zopie' in a panoramic winter landscape in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 132,250.00.

(2) von Charles Leickert wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.925,00 (€ 9.963,31) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Leickert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At the 'koek en zopie' in a panoramic winter landscape im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.250,00.
