Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The McCord Sisters' Duet by Charles Green Shaw was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in July 2020. It achieved a price of USD 13,825.00 (€ 11,741.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Green Shaw achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plastic Polygon in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 555,000.00 (€ 497,802.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The McCord Sisters' Duet von Charles Green Shaw kam im Juli 2020 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 13.825,00 (€ 11.741,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Green Shaw erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plastic Polygon im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 555.000,00 (€ 497.802,49).
