It achieved a price of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,060.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Admittedly, works by Charles Ginner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Corner in Chelsea in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 97,737.26).

Die Arbeit St. Just In Cornwall - A Landscape With Cottages von Charles Ginner kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.060,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Ginner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Corner in Chelsea im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 97.737,26).
