Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art, which included the work Cambrian View, Chester by Charles Ginner. The price achieved of GBP 15,360.00 (€ 17,876.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Ginner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Corner in Chelsea in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 97,737.26).
