Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Mountainous landscape by Charles Ginner. The price achieved of GBP 7,395.00 (€ 8,255.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Ginner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Corner in Chelsea in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 97,737.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mountainous landscape von Charles Ginner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.395,00 (€ 8.255,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Ginner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Corner in Chelsea im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 97.737,26).
