Sold at the lower estimate price
In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction Brian Sewell - Critic & Collector, which included the work Applehayes; and Wych Platt by Charles Ginner. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,737.19) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Ginner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Corner in Chelsea in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 97,737.26).
