Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Houses by Charles Demuth was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2021. It achieved a price of USD 93,750.00 (€ 76,882.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Demuth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Key Of Blue in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,685,000.00 (€ 1,222,875.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 76.882,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Demuth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In The Key Of Blue im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.685.000,00 (€ 1.222.875,39).
