Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a boy, half-length, in a lilac coat and red cloak by Charles d'Agar was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2004. The price achieved of GBP 4,182.50 (€ 6,224.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00.
