Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Charles Ernest Cundall achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Notre Dame, Paris sold for GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,981.82) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Ernest Cundall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Cup Tie At Crystal Palace, Corinthians V Manchester City in December this year with an auction result of GBP 127,400.00 (€ 146,759.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Ernest Cundall erzielte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Notre Dame, Paris für GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.981,82) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Ernest Cundall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Cup Tie At Crystal Palace, Corinthians V Manchester City im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 127.400,00 (€ 146.759,92).
