Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2004 Christies in London held the auction PHOTOGRAPHS, which included the work La Alhambra, Torre de Justicia, c.1858-62 by Charles Clifford. The price achieved of GBP 2,629.00 (€ 3,944.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Clifford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sevilla, El Alcazar in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,328.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Alhambra, Torre de Justicia, c.1858-62 von Charles Clifford zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.629,00 (€ 3.944,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Clifford erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sevilla, El Alcazar im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.328,98).
