A top price for Charles Clifford - as previously expected
The work Sevilla, El Alcazar by Charles Clifford was sold in the A Constant Pursuit: Photographs from the Collection of Ed Cohen & Victoria Shaw auction at Phillips in New York in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,328.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sevilla, El Alcazar is the most expensive artwork by Charles Clifford that we have observed at auctions so far.
