In May 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Blossoming Pink Branches; Blossoming White Branches: Two Works by Charles Caryl Coleman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 95,600.00 (€ 81,251.06), 59% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Caryl Coleman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Azaleas And Apple Blossoms in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 2,281,000.00 (€ 1,465,938.30).

Im Mai 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blossoming Pink Branches; Blossoming White Branches: Two Works von Charles Caryl Coleman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 95.600,00 (€ 81.251,06) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Caryl Coleman erzielen.
