Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Works on Paper, which included the work Maternité by Charles Angrand. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,716.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Angrand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scène De Moisson in March 2019 with an auction result of EUR 588,500.00.
