It achieved a price of EUR 10,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Admittedly, works by Chaouki Choukini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work To Beirut - A Beyrouth - Li Bayrût in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 60,312.50.

Die Arbeit Destin von Chaouki Choukini wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion I.M.A.GINATION 44 oeuvres provenant de la collection Claude & France Lemand vendues au profit des artistes du musée de l’Institut du monde arabe bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chaouki Choukini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit To Beirut - A Beyrouth - Li Bayrût im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 60.312,50.
