The work Astarte by Chaouki Choukini was auctioned at Christies in Paris in July 2020. It achieved a price of EUR 47,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Chaouki Choukini; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot To Beirut - A Beyrouth - Li Bayrût sold at auction in October 2021 with the realized price of EUR 60,312.50.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 47.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Chaouki Choukini; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit To Beirut - A Beyrouth - Li Bayrût im Oktober 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 60.312,50.
