Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chant Avedissian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in February 2007. In the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Society sold for USD 72,000.00 (€ 54,421.77) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chant Avedissian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Icons Of The Nile in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,188,487.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chant Avedissian erzielte im Februar 2007 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Society für USD 72.000,00 (€ 54.421,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chant Avedissian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Icons Of The Nile im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.188.487,24).
